"Wyn?" House stopped him in the hallway. "You have a minute?"

Part of him wanted to wait until he had more answers to talk to Wyn about the tests he'd been doing, but hee probably deserved to stay informed.

Wyn chewed his bottom lip.

"I'm worried he's interested in my brother," he admitted.

"Hart?" House said. "Or Bond? Or both."

"Bond," Wyn replied quietly.

"Worth cautioning him against," House said. Not least of which because House was pretty sure he and Hart were fucking again.

And then... he couldn't seem to stop himself from asking... "Your brother... he flirt with everyone?"

Wyn seemed to think for a moment, then shook his head. "Not here," he admitted. "I think he's a bit more open back home, but he's got pretty mixed feelings about humans."

"... ah," said House. Not quite sure how he felt about that.

He kind of wanted to tell Wyn that he thought Alwyn had come onto him. See how he reacted. But he couldn't bring himself to say it.

"I hope in time he'll find his place here. ...It's actually been nice having him near. I don't think I realized I missed him," Wyn admitted.

“Good,” said House. “I’m glad.” He hadn’t gotten a good sense of whether they even got along.

"What do you think of him?" Wyn asked curiously, wondering what sort of impression Alwyn had been making.

"He has terrible taste," snorted House before he could stop himself, but then clarified flippantly, "I think he was hitting on me. But look, he seems like a good guy. Obviously cares about you."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I'm sure he wasn't hitting on you," Wyn replied, looking doubtful, then realizing how rude that could seem. "Not because you aren't desirable, just... He's not into humans, you know?"

Ouch, thought House.

"Right," he said neutrally. "That makes sense." Noted.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Sorry, that was- I wasn't trying to be rude," Wyn said awkwardly.

House shrugged. "It's fine. That makes a lot of sense."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"He's just never had a kind word for mankind, you know? Really didn't support me coming to the human realm to become an actor, and really wasn't keen on Pinewart," Wyn sighed.

House nodded, not sure what else to say. He wasn't sure why he cared anyway.

"Well I'm glad the two of you are getting along, at least."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Wyn nodded, then smiled softly.

"It's really sweet you care," he said. "It means a lot. ...I know I say that a lot, but, I mean it, you know? I'm lucky to have you in my life."

House really wasn't sure what to say to that. "Ah... sure, Wyn. I mean. I do care, I'm glad you're okay."

House seemed uncomfortable, and Wyn worried he'd made things awkward.

"Yeah, so... Yeah. I was just saying thanks," he shrugged, trailing off and looking fidgety.

"You're welcome," said House. "Look, maybe I should go. Get on analyzing the data I got from you. Don't forget to bring me more."

"Of course," Wyn nodded. "I'll do my best to keep good records for you."
