Fox
House still couldn't quite believe how the previous day had gone. When he'd gone into Fox's shop for an ingredient for an experiment, he certainly hadn't expected to share a bed with him. Asking him to dinner would have seemed like a slightly more likely outcome, and somehow that had ended up happening after.
Later that evening he went back to Fox's place, dressed nicely (for him) and smelling good.

"Oh, um- I don't really. I have some potions and maybe some plasters," Fox said, going to fetch his basket of first aid and offering it to Greg.
"I should probably be better stocked," he admitted, keeping his voice low incase John was sleeping.

"Thought we already discussed what I do on a first date," Fox joked, taking off his shoes, then awkwardly stripping out of his trousers.

Fox nodded, leaving his trousers on the chair as he walked with Greg to the bedroom.
"I can handle a sting," he promised as he perched on the bed and let House clean him up.

As he worked, he hesitated and then said, "You know, I could... stay, if you wanted, just to make sure you're okay tonight. Just like last night. Sleeping."

Fox seemed to think, then nodded slightly. "Could I have another pill as well?" he asked. "I really did sleep better without the pain, and it's only going to be worse tonight."

He finished up, putting a bandage over Fox's knee, and then pulled out his bottle of Vicodin. He handed a pill to Fox. And then before putting it in his pocket, swallowed one for himself dry.

"Thank you," Fox said, reaching for the water on his nightstand. "Even with the bruises, I really did have a great time with you tonight."

"I hope it's painfully obvious then that I like you too," Fox smiled, pausing to take his pill. "I like that you're staying again. It's nice falling asleep beside you."

Fox didn't give him a chance though, leaning over to kiss him softly.

When he pulled away he teased, "I'm looking forward to the good coffee in the morning."

"I'll make you the best cup you ever had," Fox promised softly. "For now though, do you mind if I call it a night?"

"Sore," Fox chuckled, taking off his shirt. "Embarrassed..."

Fox settled in, rolling onto his side to look at the other man.
"Goodnight, Greg."
