When House left Fin's place, he was feeling... annoyed, and frustrated, and insecure. Also frustrated in a blue balls kind of way, considering that they'd been interrupted mid sex.
On the bright side, his leg hadn't started hurting again yet.
When he got back to his bike, he stood there for a minute, and then pulled out his cellphone. He stared at it for a moment, and then looked up Angelique's number. Five minutes later, he had a promise of her meeting him at his place. This cheered him a little.
He stopped at an ATM since he wasn't sure how much cash he had stashed at home, and made it home in time to take a quick shower. (That seemed polite, considering.) Then he got dressed again, counted how much cash he had on hand, and drank some scotch before brushing his teeth.
When there was a knock at the door he walked up (without his cane) and opened it.
