Suddenly Fin understood why House had seemed nervous before. It was only natural to be self conscious of the things you saw as undesirable. How many times had Fin hidden the scars around his eyes? Or his damaged eyes themselves behind thick black glasses, unable to see how glassy and unfocused they were, but well aware of how bad they must have looked.
