House had a feeling that this was going to end badly, but he couldn't bring himself to care. He'd enjoy it while he could, and that meant he wanted Corbin to enjoy it, too.

He got a room at a swanky hotel and checked in a little early. Made some preparations, and then texted Corbin the address and room number. He felt a little silly doing all this. Though as long as Corbin didn't think so, it would hopefully be well worth the effort.

In terms of his appearance though, House looked the same as always. Freshly showered, and he was wearing his favorite tshirt, but he had no desire to be someone he wasn't.

Corbin pulled himself off in time with Greg's thrusts, and not long after he felt the other man come, his own pleasure caught up to him.

"Fuck," he panted. "Greg..."

House settled beside him and kissed him fiercely.

Corbin returned the kiss, cupping Greg's face in his hands.

"Alright?" he asked softly.

Beyond realizing how utterly fucked he was because of how much he liked Corbin?

"Mmmhmm." He slipped an arm around him. "I'm good."

Corbin grinned, rolling closer and wrapping one arm around the other man.

House closed his eyes. "You're amazing," he mumbled.

"Hardly, but you're kind to say so," Corbin smiled, pressing a kiss to Greg's shoulder before resting his head there.

House was quiet for a moment and then finally just said what he was thinking. "Corbin, I don't expect anything from you, but... on a scale of one to ten, how hard should I be trying to make sure I don't get too attached to you.."

That made Corbin pause, and he sat up a little, looking uncomfortable.

"I- I don't know. I wasn't really thinking long term... It's just, you know, nice right now."

Yeah House immediately regretted opening his mouth. "Yeah, sure of course. That's not what I meant, just - I know you're with Hex, and I guess I've just been assuming this whole time that it's going to be over any minute. And the more time passes the more shitty that seems."

Corbin was silent for a long moment, then offered the most honest answer he could.

"I can't promise anyone anything. I don't want to promise anyone anything, you know what I mean?"

"Yes," said House. "I know what you mean." He stroked his arm. " I'm just used to everything going to shit and it's freaking me out how good this is, right now, with you."

Corbin seemed to relax a bit, and eventually eased closer again.

"I can only promise I'm not trying to hurt anyone."

"I know," House said. Because he really did believe it. He also knew that meant little about whether someone ended up getting hurt, but well, he'd hurt plenty of people himself.

He leaned in again and kissed him. "I thought the first time we were together was a fluke and I'd never see you again."

"That must have been upsetting- Being wrong, that is," Corbin teased lightly.

House laughed. "Actually yes. Yes, I was very conflicted about how to feel."

Corbin laughed again, brighter now, before laning in to steal another kiss.

House tangled a hand in his hair and kissed him back. "We're quite a pair, aren't we," he said quietly when it broke. "Your'e surprised that I want you for more than sex, and I'm surprised that you want me for sex at all."

"A perfect fit, really," Corbin said, leaning into the hold on his hair.

"Okay, that's enough of talking about my feelings," House said. "I might break out in hives."

"What do you want to talk about instead then?" Corbin asked, settling back in beside him.

"Hmmm," said House. "I don't know, got a medical mystery for me? You got a weird mole or something?"

"Dunno, you want to check me, doc?" Corbin chuckled, offering a suggestive wiggle.

A smile quirked at House's lips. "I'd have to examine every inch of your body."

"Not for me," House assured him. "I could make a map of your body..."

Though before he did that, he stretched across him again to grab the bottle of vicodin he'd left on the nightstand and swallowed a couplee..
